An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Rural Administrative Assistant to join our team with responsibility for providing high quality administrative support to our multi-disciplined team. You will work closely with our Chartered Surveyors (and Graduates) supporting them with a variety of administrative tasks. This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week over four or five days (Monday to Friday). Responsibilities: Assisting closely with property valuations, including research and drafting reports Accurate typing and interpretation of written notes and audio recordings relating to reports, letters, advertisements and valuations as required Support in the delivery of other client services Produce tenancy agreements / licences, terms of business and invoices Develop a working knowledge of Promap (mapping software) Processing and responding to telephone and email enquiries within a timely manner, signposting to the relevant people where required Drafting of dictated invoices for work carried out as required using Core Time Anti-money Laundering compliance GDPR compliance Build excellent relationships with clients in order to act as a point of contact by resolving enquiries efficiently. Assist with general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, printing and filing. To provide ad hoc support to the other members of the team as required Key Skills: Previous administration experience is essential, ideally in property/surveying Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) Highly organised, flexible and able to clearly prioritise duties and meet deadlines Ability to work under pressure Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint with the ability to pick up new software quickly Strong typing skills, including audio dictation (not essential) to produce accurate documentation to deadlines. Communicating effectively with clients. Agricultural and rural knowledge is advantageous, but not essential.
