At this school, we believe that the Humanities help students make sense of their world—past, present, and future. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Humanities Teacher to join a forward-thinking team. Beginning September 2025.
Whether your strength is History, Geography, Religious Education, or a combination, we’re keen to hear from teachers who can create memorable, meaningful learning experiences that spark curiosity and build understanding.
Duties as Humanities Teacher:
* Teach engaging and inclusive Humanities lessons at [KS3 and/or KS4]
* Develop students’ knowledge, critical thinking, and cultural awareness
* Deliver inspiring lessons that encourage questioning, discussion, and debate
* Support students in achieving academic success while building character and confidence
* Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives
Ideal Humanities Teacher:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or international equivalent
* A degree in a relevant Humanities subject (e.g. History, Geography, RE)
* Passion for your subject and a creative approach to teaching
* Strong communication and classroom management skills as a Humanities Teacher
* A commitment to inclusion, wellbeing, and high standards
