The Role:
As a Design Associate, you'll play a key role in supporting our showroom operations by ensuring that final design decisions are ready for production. Your work will allow our Kitchen Designers to focus on client sales and design, while you handle the preparation of production, procurement, and installation specifications. You'll collaborate with showroom hosts and other team members to ensure that all processes run smoothly, delivering an exceptional client experience with accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the showroom's presentation and manage administrative duties
Manage the showroom diary and assist with scheduling client meetings and site visits
Liaise with various teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure the smooth progression of projects
Track orders, chase payments, and credits, and maintain accurate costing sheets
Assist with supplier costs, ordering, and cross-referencing invoices
Ensure accurate specification and measurements in design orders
Support with ArtiCAD and EQ systems, providing technical checks and preparing order packs
Coordinate remedial work and support in KPI management
Provide non-sales demonstrations when needed
Produce reports and assist with regional management reporting
Skills & Expertise Required:
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., ArtiCAD) (desirable)
Strong design principles and kitchen design knowledge (desirable)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation
Project management and problem-solving abilities
