As our restaurant continues to thrive, we are looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth daily operations.
Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Team Management – Leading, training, and motivating a team staff members (front-of-house).
2. Guest Experience – Ensuring top-tier service standards and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
3. Operations & Cleanliness – Overseeing the overall condition of the restaurant, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency.
4. Scheduling & Delegation – Creating staff rotas and ensuring effective task delegation.
5. Cost Control & Reporting – Managing expenses, weekly reporting, and optimising spending.
6. Supplier & Stock Management – Overseeing wine suppliers, ordering stock, and maintaining supplier relationships.
7. Collaboration – Working closely with the owner and chef.
8. Market Trends & Strategy – Monitoring industry trends and suggesting improvements.
9. Recruitment & Training – Hiring, onboarding, and developing team members.
10. Marketing & Promotion – Potential involvement in promotional activities.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality in a managerial/supervisory role (Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor).
* Strong leadership skills – ability to manage and inspire a team.
* Excellent organisation & time management – ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Financial acumen – cost control and budget management.
* Confident decision-maker – capable of working independently and problem-solving effectively.
* Outstanding guest service skills – maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
* Bonus: Health & Safety or First Aid certifications (not required, but a plus – training can be provided).
What We Offer
* Competitive salary (£32,000 - £35,000) based on experience.
