An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join the team based in Dorset. The main focus of the role is to be an integral part of the Finance team assisting the Finance Manager to produce the monthly management accounts and day to day reports.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts along with the Finance Manager
2. Produce analyses and reports as requested by the finance manager
3. Reconciling control accounts
4. Monitor Debtors and Creditors balances
5. Bank reconciliations
6. Preparing and entering journals
7. Preparation and communication of Amberley’s daily performance figures.
8. Produce and communicate monthly stock reports
9. Manage expenses submissions
10. Assist in the preparation of annual and monthly rolling forecasts
11. Support accounts payable with processing of 400 invoices a month and Identifying GRNI
12. Ensure all sales and costs are classified to the correct nominal code and profit centre
13. Support Accounts Receivable with sending invoices and statements during busy periods. Enabling daily sales performance to be reported
14. Production of daily, weekly and monthly Sales performance
15. Field questions from the finance team and other departments
16. Produce and manage any additional day to day reporting required
17. Monitoring and communication of department spend and variances
