Quality Monitoring and Development Officer (South Central)

Are you proficient in preparing detailed reports, presenting information, and analysing data in order to create Quality Reports and effective action plans? If you are, then Allied Care have an opportunity for you to join them as a Quality Monitoring and Development Officer.
We are looking to appoint a quality monitoring and development officer to work across our residential services, guiding managers in meeting good governance under all regulatory frameworks and to lead the continuous improvement agenda as an educator. The role will be line managed in collaboration with an enhanced Training and Development department.
The role may involve some remote working but your work base will be the care home closest to your home address. This is not a Home Working position. The role will cover our services in Eastbourne, Crawley area, East Grinstead, Worcester Park and Morden, and you will be expected to travel to these services to provide governance support to the registered managers.
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the company is providing an excellent service for the people that we support and that each Registered Manager is gathering satisfactory evidence to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating in line with the CQC quality statements. This will include ensuring the collection of quality data and the analysis of trends and highlighting areas for improvement. Excellent communication skills and the capacity to provide prompt feedback to senior leadership is an essential part of this role as is the ability to create a leaning environment through providing in service workshops and short educational sessions as soon as shortfalls are detected.
If you would like to be shortlisted for this position you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
· Prior line management or supervisory experience
· Completed education to Level 5 or equivalent in a health and / or social care qualification.
· Excellent knowledge and understanding of the CQC regulatory framework and quality statements
· Previous practical teaching experience and presentation skills.

· Effective communication skills and the ability to work with a range of different managers
· Excellent organisational and planning skills
· Evidence of achieving deadlines
· Computer literate with working experience of Microsoft Office and online records systems.
· Understanding of Risk Management processes and Incident reporting
· Travel between services is essential
