Job Description
Your Mission
* Develop and refine the AML transaction monitoring intelligence to ensure the best balance between efficacy and volume of investigations.
* Deliver insights that lead to actionable and measurable outcomes, such as identifying new patterns to monitor, reducing false positives and noise, and decreasing investigation time.
* Work closely with the AML Operations team to understand their use of our intelligence and investigation platform, and use their feedback to suggest improvements.
* Collaborate with compliance, operations, product, and engineering stakeholders to analyze transaction data, identify emerging money laundering patterns, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
* Build and maintain dashboards, documentation, and reports across environments including Snowflake, Tableau, and other visualization tools.
* Partner with data engineering to build and maintain ETLs and data models relevant to financial risk.
* Promote a data-driven culture across the organization.
Your Team
The Customer Risk Monitoring team, part of the Acceptance group, implements and maintains analytical intelligence to protect Teya and its customers from financial risks such as money laundering, terrorism financing, and fraud. Our goal is to minimize financial losses and risk exposure while maintaining customer trust and ensuring compliance. This team collaborates closely with investigation teams.
As a data analyst in AML, you will work with data scientists, engineers, investigators, and leadership to enhance our analytical tools and align efforts with strategic goals. A key aspect of this role is helping shape the future direction of AML monitoring at Teya.
