Our Client is one of the fastest growing, privately owned, building maintenance and facilities management support services companies in the UK, delivering high levels of service to key blue-chip clients.
They are looking to permanently employ several engineers to respond in a prompt and effective manner to planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, as allocated by the Helpdesk.
The primary responsibilities are detailed below, however our client may require additional responsibilities to be absorbed within reason from time to time to meet business demands.
1. Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken e.g., completing daily work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job;
2. Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times, in accordance with all technical standards;
3. To build positive working relationships with clients and ensure that all work is completed to a satisfactory level;
4. Participate in the 'out of hour's service on a rota basis to ensure all issues are dealt with promptly.
Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications
Essential
1. Experience in multiple trades such as Carpentry and Joinery, Plumbing, Tiling, Rendering, Plastering, and Painting and Decorating;
2. Full Clean UK Driving Licence;
3. Have a positive 'can do' attitude;
4. Be a great team player as well as an ability to work on your own initiative;
5. Great attention to detail;
6. Confident using handheld IT Equipment for managing works and documentation;
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
8. CSCS Card;
9. Asbestos Awareness Certificate;
Desirable
1. Full industry recognised qualification obtained to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent;
2. IPAF - Mobile Vertical (3a) + (3b) Mobile Boom;
3. PASMA - Mobile Access Tower for Users;
4. UKPIA / SPA Petrol Retail Contractors Safety Passport;
