Job Description
Do you want to help shape our communications and promote the work of Scottish local government?
We're looking for a Communications Officer to help implement key aspects of our communications strategy.

This role offers the unique opportunity to gain experience and insight into the work of Local Government across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Capturing, writing, and sharing knowledge and good practice through engaging content, including case studies, insight pieces, and news stories.
* Ensuring our digital channels are filled with appealing content that is of benefit to our stakeholders.
* Supporting teams across the organisation to plan and deliver their own communication objectives.
* Monitoring and evaluating social media activity.
* Leading on some projects, including our Insights' blogging programme.
What We Are Looking For:
* A flexible and pro-active team player with sound communication and organisational skills who is entirely comfortable using their own initiative.
