TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work in the Chertsey, Surrey area working in ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management solution company. The role will be working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5, with lots of overtime available. Must work weekends on a shift rota (roughly 1 in 4 but will vary).
This role requires flexibility during their busy season (May to October) with regards to hours and days worked.
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 (Overtime after 40 hours is at time and a half)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operation & maintenance of H&V plant, including pumps etc.
2. Operation & maintenance of swimming pool & Jacuzzi systems.
3. Responding to breakdowns.
4. Undertaking scheduled maintenance.
5. Fault finding, diagnosis & carrying out repair or replacement of equipment.
6. Managing stock & supplies of equipment.
7. Technical support to colleagues & assisting others.
8. Maintain a safe working environment for colleagues.
9. Ensure a professional approach is always delivered with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
10. Liaise regularly with managers, supervisors & colleagues to ensure an efficient and effective service is always delivered to the client.
11. Always provide a highly customer focused service to the company and client.
12. Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
13. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety.
14. Seasonal shift & on call rota.
15. Any other duties as and when required.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities:
1. To be fully qualified & an experienced mechanical engineer.
2. NVQ level 2 or above in plumbing & heating.
3. BEng or level 2 diploma particularly in mechanical, production or electrical engineering.
4. Level 2 diploma in H&V.
5. Experience in building or facilities maintenance.
6. The relevant technical knowledge.
7. Work well under pressure.
8. Good verbal & written communication skills.
