Job Description: As a Production Operative, you will play a pivotal role in our fast-paced food production environment, ensuring the seamless operation of our Hot-Pie and Sausage production lines. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and hygiene while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating Machinery: Safely and effectively operate production line machinery to produce high-quality sausage rolls and hot pies.
Hazard Analysis: Identify and assess potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
Quality Checks: Conduct regular quality checks to maintain our high standards and ensure our products are the best they can be.
Paperwork: Accurately complete all required paperwork, including production logs and quality control documents.
Critical Control Points (CCPs): Understand and monitor CCPs to ensure food safety and compliance with industry regulations.
Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and consistency.
Physical Labour: Be prepared for labour-intensive work, including lifting items up to 25kg
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within food production is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Be able to change over the machinery during product change-overs on the production lines
Record and check product samples correctly
Ability to lift up to 25kg and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Understanding of hazard analysis and critical control points (CCPs).
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Basic paperwork and record-keeping skills.
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with us.
Be able to work a 12 hour, 3 on 3 off Shift pattern
