WHAT'S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?
This role will ensure that data is at the heart of decision making for D2C commercial teams (.Com, Pureplay & Marketplaces) to ensure the delivery of their strategy and commercial game plan. You will use internal & external data to deliver commercial trading dashboards, identify sales growth opportunities, measure and advise on the effectiveness of our investments and generate customer insights to optimize sales and profitability of the D2C Channels. This role will work closely with the Commercial, Data and Marketing teams to best support both the D2C customers and Pentland.
WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?
As our D2C Planning Analyst you will be responsible for:
* Sales reporting & analysis
o Accountability for weekly & monthly KPI's and Ad-hoc reporting for our D2C teams, whilst supporting them in delivering trade summaries to the wider business.
o Link sell-in and sell-through data so the business has visibility of the speed or traction. Highlight fast and slow movers and ensure this visibility is available to the likes of commercial and merchandising to optimize stock within set parameters.
o Working with Data Team (GCH), provide commercial teams access to data visualisations and consistent dashboards, reporting suites and tools that drive commercial actions, enable performance review and tracking and monitoring of campaigns and shopper behavioural metrics.
o Delivery of analysis tasks that focus on growth opportunities and return/effectiveness of our investments with Marketplaces & Digital Partners to drive data led decision making.
o Transition all Excel Reporting into Power BI.
* Data set up & validation
o Responsible for Pureplay & Marketplace customer specific master data set up and ongoing data management. Work with IT and wider data analytics team to continuously improve the accuracy and processing of data.
o Onboard new retailer sell-through data whilst maintaining and evolving existing account data.
o Improve data literacy of D2C commercial & marketing teams to become self-sufficient in the use of data tools for their day-to-day tasks.
* Amazon
o Utilizing key metrics from Amazon Vendor Central to guide commercial decision making.
o Working closely with Marketing team to direct advertising spending.
o Downloading financial and chargeback data from Vendor Central.
* Teamwork & ad hoc tasks
o Work closely with commercial, marketing, finance and D2C Teams to deliver consistent & accurate data.
o Ad Hoc Reporting for all D2C channels.
WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?
You just might be our next superstar if you have the following skills and experience:
* Intermediate or advanced user of Excel.
* Amazon Vendor Central experience.
* SAP Working knowledge.
* Business Warehouse (BW)/Business Intelligence (BI) advanced user.
* Good Knowledge of Power BI and Dashboard visualisation.
