We are looking for an experienced Production Controller to join us a 6 month contract basis (inside IR35)
Working with engineering stakeholders and project managers you will be managing all production related activities on the SAP ByDesign ERP system to ensure documentation and internal works orders are collated and entered onto the ERP system.
Additional tasks will involve coordinating material shortages and allocations.
You will be an enthusiastic, self-starting individual who is willing to take responsibility for driving good practices and document collation across a range of projects and activities, interfacing with colleagues within In-Space Missions.
You will enjoy working as part of a team, willing to drive delivery but also to flex priorities where necessary and are comfortable with a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
Experience in most of the following areas is required:
* An understanding of Electronic and Mechanical manufacturing documentation and processes
* ERP Systems
* Procurement processes
* Stakeholder management
* Documentation mapping and change request management
* Planning skills
What will you be doing here?
Responsibilities will include:
* Data collection and data entry on the ERP system, overseeing and coordinating the flow of materials and works orders through the production area, whilst working with the procurement, engineering, and project management team.
* Various tasks would include but not be limited to-
* Raising internal works orders against project demands
* Review and approve all manufacturing documentation
* Add part numbers, BOM’s and technical drawings to the ERP system
* Manage revision control
* Work with system engineers to ensure all demands are covered
* Ensure all demands are pushed through to the MRP
* Manage change control on all works orders via RFW’s and RFD’s
* Liaise with Project Managers and the bid team when planning works orders
* Provide supporting information for all human and facility resourcing needs
* Chase and report on works order shortages
