Asset and Compliance Manager

To support the Technical Compliance and Asset Manager across a large national portfolio (circa 1500 sites) in the retail and leisure sector, the role will manage a small team to deliver statutory compliance across the account, maintain the accuracy of the asset register, comply with permit to work processes for all suppliers, and manage the critical assets within the equipment and machines category. This role will predominantly be office-based but with flexibility for some home working and the need to attend other Bellrock and client sites as required.

As an Asset and Compliance Manager with Bellrock, you’ll do it by:
Key Accountabilities:
* Effective management of a team.
* Develop and maintain the accuracy of the asset database.
* Delivery of a statutory planned maintenance programme and resulting remedials to ensure asset compliance.
* Support asset availability by enabling the permit to work processes for suppliers.
* Support critical asset availability by taking responsibility for the Equipment and Machines Category.
* Provide advice and support to both the wider team and client ensuring all relevant KPIs are met.
* Build knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance documents for the technical services relevant to the contract.
Operations and Service Delivery
* Ensure compliance across the estate ensuring contractual obligations are met.
* Develop and deliver processes to help maintain the accuracy of the asset database for all sites.
* Develop and deliver systems and reports to enable insightful use of asset data.
* Support the Supply Chain Team in managing the performance of all suppliers to ensure the effective day-to-day delivery of statutory maintenance.
* Oversee reactive maintenance and asset replacement within the Equipment and Machines category.
* Ensure permit to work processes for suppliers are clear and up to date.
* Directly manage and develop the Account Coordinators.
* Attend meetings as required.

Essential:
* IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
* Knowledge of SFG20
* People Management
* Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability awareness
* Asset Management Database development and ongoing management
* Experience in delivering statutory and non-statutory compliance
* Working in a client-facing role
* Working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
* Working with suppliers
* Managing multiple priorities
* Data management, analysis and reporting
* Adherence to processes and procedures
* Knowledge of where to find, and experience in applying, relevant legislation
* Customer focused
* Building effective relationships
* Ability to articulate difficult or complex information at all levels

Desirable:
* Facilities Management (FM) qualification or qualification in a trade
* Commercial contract awareness and understanding
* Knowledge of where to find, and experience in applying, relevant legislation
Working arrangements
We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from Head Office, Leicester, LE1 6LP, working two days a week with the team, and the rest of the week can be worked from home in hours 08:30-17:00.
