Salary: £47,683 dependant on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: This role will require for you to work with the supplier to understand programme status and key issues, maintaining telecoms and meetings with a regularity as appropriate to the status of the programme and ensure that suppliers are aware of the National/EF programme requirements You will engage with suppliers to establish future equipment requirements and ensure that product obsolescence is managed through the engineering lifecycle A requirement will be to support the Final Assembly Line & Flight Development Line to ensure that DASS equipment is available to meet programme requirements A key task is to continue to identify ways to help improve ground equipment, training and technical publications used to operate and maintain our equipment on the Final Assembly Line and In-Service Maintaining the equipment programme plans, status information and issue slide to keep them topical with the latest information to support the team reviews will be paramount You will be supporting the supplier bid process through support to the DASS procurement team Your skills and experiences: Demonstrable experience of software and hardware development An understanding and knowledge of the engineering lifecycle A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent with relevant experience gained on an aircraft engineering project or related field The ability to develop and present a range of complex data to a variety of stakeholders The ability to manage tasks across multiple contracts, balancing priorities and workload across a team Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The DASS Equipment Engineering Team: The Defensive Aids Sub-System (DASS) System consists of the Defensive Aids Computer (DAC), Electronic Surveillance Measures (ESM), Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) and Missile Approach Warner (MAW), providing platform survivability and situational awareness and the Chaff and Flare Counter Measures Dispensing Systems (CMDS).
