The Rent on Time Administrator will play a key part in the success of the Rent on Time service, by providing a first-class tenancy and rent payment administration service.
Undertaking and overseeing elements of the tenancy administration, this is a very busy role and the ability to stay calm under pressure is key along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and communicate with customers over the telephone and in person.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Support the Rent on Time function to deliver a seamless service to Rent on Time customers, including:
2. Processing of new Rent on Time applications to include checking and collecting required information and adding properties onto the system
3. Running reports and generating rent lists
4. Downloading bank transactions and updating bank statement lists
5. Issuing daily rent lists to agents for confirmation
6. Allocation of rental payments
7. Daily quality checking of rent lists prior to authorisation for payment
8. Deposit management and registration
9. Processing of tenancy agreements and extensions where required
10. Taking a small amount of rental payments over the phone using the online system
11. Assisting with Rent on Time portfolio transfer administration
12. Processing refund and deposit return requests for authorisation
13. Taking inbound calls from agents and tenants
14. Managing the Rent on Time inboxes
15. Incepting, renewing and terminating rent guarantee policies
16. Archiving properties following vacation from the Rent on Time service
Support the Rent on Time claims customers, where tenancies have been passed to the Rent Guarantee Claims team, including:
1. Keeping arrears lists up to date
2. Providing details for the Rent on Time credit controllers for distribution to customers
3. Source documents from customers on behalf of the claims team
4. Submit new claims on behalf of Rent on Time customers
5. Generate and update rent schedules
6. Liaise with customers regarding deposit use and property re-letting
1. Assist with Rent on Time audits when required
2. Assist with Rent on Time claims administration when required
3. Carry out any other tasks that may be required of you from your team leader or line manager

1. Strong administration background

6. Excellent computer skills with good working knowledge of all standard Microsoft programs
7. Excellent grammar, both verbal and written
8. Excellent telephone manner with the ability to build relationships
