Job overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Unit team as a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse, providing quality patient care in high-pressure situations. Cardiff and Vale UHB's Emergency Unit assesses over 150,000 patients a year, providing care for acutely ill or injured patients of all ages.
Main duties of the job
Applications are welcomed from qualified Level 1 Registered Nurses who have significant experience within Emergency Medicine and can demonstrate substantial knowledge within this field of expertise. The post holder will manage the flow within specific areas of the Emergency Unit, providing effective leadership and management of the nursing team in a complex and pressurised environment.
You will require excellent communication and clinical skills, significant evidence of CPD, and show passion and enthusiasm for working in Emergency Medicine.
