An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced support worker to join our dedicated Gynaecological Out Patient Department at Maidstone Hospital. This is a busy department, with a varied and wide array of clinics which also offering the opportunity to be involved in supporting and assisting clinical staff in our 2 dedicated minor procedures suites. If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant with a passion for Women's Health we would love to hear from you. Occasional weekend working and cross site cover may be required. Main duties of the job The role exists to provide a multi-skilled worker who supports the Gynaecological outpatients department with clinical and non-clinical practices in order to provide patient-centred care. After appropriate training has been given, the post-holder will undertake a range of delegated duties without direct supervision from a clinician. The post-holder will be involved in the development of other Healthcare Assistants and will be responsible for their own personal and professional development.
