IPRS Health are currently looking for an experienced Quality & Clinical Governance Manager to ensure that all aspects of IPRS Health clinical governance, quality and safety are delivered as directed by the IPRS Health Governance & Compliance Strategy and in compliance with IPRS Health policies and any relevant legislation. Working alongside other leads within the organisation, and applying a system view, the Quality & Clinical Governance Manager will drive a proactive Quality Agenda, to identify and progress opportunities for improvement and disseminate existing good practice and continuously improve the quality and safety of clinical services and ensure their efficient and effective delivery through optimisation of operational systems, processes, and procedures.
The Quality & Clinical Governance Manager will also form part of the Senior Management Team alongside the other Senior Managers, working together with the senior leadership to ensure efficient and effective clinical service delivery through optimisation of operational processes and procedures.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To manage IPRS Health’s Quality & Clinical Governance.
* To plan and manage Clinical Governance resource and infrastructure to ensure effective delivery of quality and clinical governance activities.
* To be responsible for the IPRS Health Quality Programme, adopting a collaborative approach, to ensure the IPRS Health Quality Management System is applied across the business, in line with ISO 9001 requirements.
* To contribute to the review of recommended changes to services, processes, guidelines, or policies identified through analysis of clinical governance data. To review and update clinical forms and policies under the IPRS Health Quality Management System.
* To lead on Governance of the IPRS Health Clinical (MSK and Mental Health) Provider Network to provide assurance of their compliance with legal, contractual, and professional requirements.
* To establish, review and update IPRS Health Policies relating to clinical governance.
* To apply analysis of clinical incidents, patient feedback and clinical complaint outcomes to drive the Quality programme. Work with teams across the organisation to develop and implement associated interventions to mitigate risks and improve patient experience of services.
* To be responsible for the development, implementation, and delivery of the IPRS Health Quality Account.
* To review and interpret monthly statistics and monthly Management Information in order to monitor and manage clinical quality and performance and to report on these to the business and Senior Leadership Team.
* To provide quality and clinical governance support, information and advice to IPRS Health teams.
* To develop and deliver training to colleagues (clinical and non-clinical) around quality and clinical governance.
* To contribute to IPRS Health’s business strategy by working as required with the business development team on commercial tenders.
* Horizon scanning relevant to quality and Clinical Governance.
* Involvement in multidisciplinary investigations resulting from patient safety incidents, serious untoward events or incidents, to manage risk and improve patient safety and quality.
* To ensure an effective framework is provided to support and evidence colleague clinical continuous professional development.
* To work with clinical and operations teams to ensure delivery of IPRS Health’s Clinical KPIs and objectives within required standards of quality and clinical governance. To contribute to discussions and decision-making processes that relate to the organisation’s clinical strategic plans and their realisation.
* To maintain own relevant skills through participation in continuing education in quality and clinical governance and to maintain personal development relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
* To contribute to the effective development of IPRS Health IT platforms.
* To ensure all work is completed in compliance with IPRS policy, and regulatory and statutory requirements.
* To contribute to discussions and decision-making processes relating to the organisation’s clinical strategic plans and their realisation, from a quality and clinical governance perspective. To undertake any other duties commensurate with the grading of the post, as required by the IPRS Health Business strategy and as cascaded by the Head of Governance.

Experience & Knowledge:
Previous experience in using computer software including Microsoft Office (E)

Salary £45,000-£50,000 per annum
Permanent position 40 hours per week
