Purchasing Administrator
Our well-established client is seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their exciting projects team. The ideal candidate will have a tenacious, proactive attitude and be able to work autonomously as well as within a team. This is a demanding position requiring the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have proven experience in purchasing (particularly raw materials), a background in production and manufacturing environments, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities as Purchasing Administrator
1. Managing the purchasing and quality assurance administration for projects
2. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
3. Buying raw materials and working with sub-contractors
4. Purchasing materials to specification
5. Utilizing ERP/MP systems and reading material drawings
Qualifications and Experience as Purchasing Administrator
1. Proven experience in purchasing
2. Knowledge of working in a production and manufacturing environment
3. Experience buying raw materials and working with sub-contractors
4. ERP/MRP experience
5. Ability to read material drawings is a plus
6. Strong communication and relationship-building skills
7. Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
8. Good attention to detail
9. Able to prioritize in a busy environment
10. Proven experience as an excellent relationship builder
