Salary: £31,500 - 34,500 per annum depending on experience
Overall Purpose of the Job:
Prominent Education, part of Xinlung Group, seeks an experienced and highly knowledgeable 11+ Academic Manager to spearhead the development and enhancement of our 11+ tutoring services and products. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of the 11+ and other relevant examination processes, curriculums, and best practices in educational delivery. The 11+ Academic Manager will be responsible for creating innovative tutoring programs, ensuring high-quality academic content, and contributing to teaching when necessary.

The Key Tasks Include but Are not Limited to:
1. Develop and refine comprehensive 11+ and other relevant tutoring programs, including course materials, resources, and assessments.
2. Create innovative and engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs.
3. Stay abreast of changes in the 11+ and other relevant examination formats and curriculums, and adapt programs accordingly.
4. Serve as the subject matter expert on 11+ and other relevant examinations, providing guidance to various stakeholders.
5. Conduct tutoring sessions when necessary, demonstrating expert teaching skills and subject knowledge.
Academic Quality Assurance:
1. Ensure the highest standards of academic quality across all tutoring services.
2. Develop and implement quality control measures to monitor student progress and program effectiveness.
3. Provide guidance and support to tutors, ensuring consistent and effective teaching practices.
4. Contribute to monitoring of student progress and provide feedback to parents and tutors.
5. Develop and implement training programs for tutors when necessary.
Tutor Recruitment and Management:
1. Actively recruit and onboard new tutors, ensuring they meet the company's standards and possess the necessary qualifications and experience.
2. Manage the tutor pool, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and ongoing support.
3. Provide training to tutors on curriculum, teaching methodologies, and company policies.
Team Collaboration and Others:
1. Collaborate with other academic and administrative staff to ensure the smooth delivery of the tutoring services.
2. Work with other teams and achieve team’s goals.
3. Contribute to the development of educational content for marketing and communication purposes.
4. Work with the wider operations team to provide personalised support and guidance to students, addressing their individual learning needs.
5. Undertake/be responsible for any other related work/projects as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:
1. Proven track record in assisting students to achieve their academic goals.
2. Proven track record in producing substantial A-A* students.
3. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in 11+ tutoring.
4. A good understanding in 11+ tutoring, market trends, particularly in the Manchester area.
5. Substantial experience in tutoring Asian students or handling Asian parents or experienced in course development and tutors management are preferable.
6. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, including occasional evenings or weekends, is required.
7. Ambitious and career-driven. Highly motivated with the ability to drive success and achieve targets.
8. Able to both motivate the team of tutors, and also enhance the teaching quality.
9. Excellent written & verbal communication in English and Mandarin is preferable.
10. The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK.
