Logistics Brokers will be expected to generate business by brokering deals between our customers and suppliers and provide exceptional first-class service to the Movex customers and suppliers.
Key Accountabilities:
* Be responsible for proactively generating deals within the Movex business.
* Work with the existing broker team to ensure accounts are serviced professionally to deliver great customer experience.
* Liaise and communicate with suppliers to ensure they deliver positive customer satisfaction.
* Develop and maintain excellent supplier and customer relationships.
* Achieve and exceed targets within the required time frames.
* Continuously improve through feedback.
* Take personal responsibility for putting the customer first and providing a relentless and excellent customer service and experience.
* Identify new ways of working to support the business in working cross functionally.
* Work in collaboration with the team to meet customer requirements.
* Work with respective team members, to ensure personal/team targets are achieved against service level agreements/KPI’s.
Decision Making:
* Prioritising of work by customer relationship.
* Prioritising of work by potential revenue.
* Prioritising of work by urgency of vehicle movement.
* Sourcing suppliers who can undertake the vehicle movement in a timely manner.
* Creating relationships with dealers and suppliers.
* Complaint handling and complaint escalation.
* Meeting and exceeding KPI’s.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous work experience as a member of a sales/broker team is essential.
* Excellent communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills.
* Experience of using computers for a variety of tasks.
* Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism.
* A commitment to excellent customer service.
* Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
* Be resourceful, inventive and self-confident.
* Previous experience in logistical/planning operations.
