Are you a Qualified Primary Teacher with a passion in helping pupils succeed? Sussex Teachers is partnering with an inclusive and supportive primary school in Hove to recruit a dedicated teacher to lead targeted provision groups for pupils in KS2.
This exciting part-time opportunity, starting in January 2025, is ideal for a teacher looking to make a meaningful impact by working closely with small groups to address key learning gaps and boost confidence in English and Maths.
About the Role
* Work 2 days per week delivering interventions to pupils in KS2, years 3 - 6.
* Deliver small group sessions (4 pupils per slot) in core subjects to address gaps in learning.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver 30-minute sessions using the Mastering Number Program (you will be given 30 minutes planning time per day).
* Provide clear, concise feedback to class teachers on pupil progress and areas for development.
* Focus on closing gaps, building pupil confidence, and developing a solid foundation in Maths and English.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent experience teaching within the primary phase.
* A strong understanding of Maths provision and strategies for supporting pupils to meet key objectives.
* Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
* Strong communication and organisational skills to provide feedback and collaborate effectively with class teachers.
