Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all Health and Safety activities on-site, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive H&S plans, policies, and procedures Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure that EHS requirements are integrated into project planning and execution. Provide H&S inductions, training and orientation to new and existing personnel, ensuring they are aware of safety protocols and procedures. Attend and provide H&S input in project meetings Responsible for tracking project specific performance indicators Likely Diploma qualified with at least 3 years experience as a H&S Advisor on complex civil engineering projects (Highways, rail, energy, civil infrastructure) A good understanding of a range of site based safety risks Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practice Proven ability to develop and implement effective H&S programmes on site Excellent communication and influencing skills Ability to work independently and manage own diary
