We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Coordinator to join our team within Vistry Eastern Counties, at our Brentwood office. As our Technical Coordinator, you will coordinate key information, engineering and working drawing packages to enable any given residential development to be built as intended and to obtain all necessary technical approvals.
We are pleased to say, this role could accommodate agile working arrangements in accordance with Vistry's Agile Working Policy and subject to business need.

BTEC HND/HNC in Design, Construction or Civil Engineering
Experience working within a technical role at a residential house builder or contractor
Good level of IT literacy with experience of AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel & Word
Proven ability in a Technical Coordinator role of delivering design for projects on time, to budget and quality standards with high customer satisfaction results
Excellent organisation and time management with ability to multitask
Commercially aware
Ability to make decisions within authority
Able to lead and work as a team member
Experienced in analysing problems and delivering solutions
Strong mathematical ability
Be able to design and interpret the designs and technical demands of others
Professional aptitude and appearance at all times
Strives for continuous improvement for the benefit of the company

Member of a professional body such as: ICE, CIAT, CIOB
Principal Designer and associated Health and Safety training/ qualifications
CSCS card qualification
Use of Viewpoint drawing management system
Proficient use of Auto Cad

Undertake monthly construction quality reports.
Provide a technical service to the construction team during the construction stage.
Completion of all necessary Health, Safety & Environmental documents, in line with group policy.
Undertaking value engineering assessments and ensure buildability.
Co-ordinate utility designs and initial mains laying onto site.
Obtain street naming and numbering with local authority, complete plot list and distribute internally and externally of the business.
Assist in production of Sales brochure and model sign off.
Provide information for Housing Association contracts and attendance of progress meetings.
Co-ordinate the accuracy of information supplied by all departments to ensure no discrepancies.
Submission of all information to building control and discharge conditions.
Obtain EPC's.
Obtain Secured by Design Approval.
Obtaining and track all specialist third party design approvals.
Attend monthly site meetings, resolve all technical related queries from site, including conducting weekly site visits.
Attend monthly design team meetings and take the minutes.
Raise DCP's/VO's as required.
Compile planning condition discharge packs.
Compile product review packs.
Arrange fire inspections.
