A leading company in the Power Sector is looking for a HSEQ Manager to join their team. This role will be based in multiple locations and will report directly to the Operations Manager. The HSEQ Manager is responsible for overseeing the safety, health, environmental, and quality management of personnel, contractors, and the public, as well as ensuring the implementation of company policies and practices in these areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare weekly and monthly reports, analysing completed audits/inspections, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
* Investigate accidents, near misses, and hazards, making recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
* Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met and, where possible, exceeded.
* Collaborate with the Training Manager to identify training needs and manage the training matrix.
* Conduct regular meetings with staff to review HSEQ objectives and targets.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation in Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality areas.
* Monitor and analyse compliance with safe systems of work, conducting internal audits as required.
* Ensure field quality check targets are met and analyze results.
* Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure the efficient and professional delivery of contracts.
Requirements:
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
* Degree-qualified or equivalent.
* Extensive experience in civil engineering or telecommunications environments.
* Strong communication and reporting skills.
* Ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* CSCS Card.
