Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support during their formative years.
Duties
1. Provide high-quality childcare in a safe and stimulating environment.
2. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
3. Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress.
4. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
5. Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children are cared for according to their individual needs.
6. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.
7. Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to child development.
8. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's environment and overall experience for children.
Skills
1. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
2. Excellent leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and colleagues.
3. Proficient in English, with strong communication skills to engage effectively with parents and staff.
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised environment.
5. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
6. A genuine passion for childcare, demonstrating patience, empathy, and creativity.
7. Capability to drive initiatives that contribute positively to the nursery's objectives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour
