Role and responsibilities:
Duties will include but not be limited to;
* Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
* Assist in the creation of management reports for the company Financial Controller
* Analysing the monthly financial results
* Bank and cash flow analysis
* Control account reconciliations
* PAYE/CIS and VAT submissions
* Auditing internal accounting processes and procedures
* Key role in statutory year end audit
* Reporting to the Financial Controller in all areas of finance
Skills required:
* Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with proven relevant experience
* Experience in the management of an accounts team
* Strong accounting systems and management reporting skills that can be evidenced through your experience
* Flexible approach and able to multi-task and effectively prioritise your workload and have an enthusiasm for new projects alongside business-as-usual activity
* Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
* The ability to communicate with all non-finance stakeholders at all levels is essential
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Role relevant experience in construction industry (desirable)
* Knowledge of ERP software package Microsoft Navision 365 BC (desirable)
