Are you an experienced electrician with a strong background in building maintenance and a valid 18th Edition certification? We are seeking a skilled Buildings Maintenance Electrician to work across three sites, all within a mile of each other in the ST3 area. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and a commitment to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems in line with 18th Edition regulations.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime for the buildings' operations across all sites.
* Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems as needed.
* Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards.
* Accurately document maintenance activities and updates on electrical equipment across multiple sites.
Requirements:
* Valid 18th Edition certification is essential.
* Proven experience in buildings maintenance, ideally within commercial or industrial environments.
* Strong understanding of health and safety practices and the ability to work safely at all times.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Flexibility to travel between sites (all within a 1-mile radius) and respond to urgent issues as required.
