Job summary Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust are seeking an Occupational Health Technician to work as a member of the highly professional occupational health and wellbeing team providing the highest standard of professional customer focused service. You will undertake a wide range of clinical activities including performing health surveillance tests e.g. spirometry, skin assessments, under the guidance of trained clinical staff reporting the results to the responsible Occupational Health Practitioner. You will also support OH health care programs and support audit and research activity as required. The post holder will be required to work across all areas of the service including commercial contract work areas and will need to be able to travel between sites. If this interest you apply now Main duties of the job To assist in the planning, implementation and administration of health surveillance programmes/other screening and maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date occupational health records supporting and undertaking OH specific reports and data management. Administration activities may be performed under the guidance of administration manager as appropriate. You will support OH health care programmes and support audit and research activity as required. You will be required to work across all areas of the service including commercial contract work areas and will need to be able to travel between sites. Examples of skills include: Spirometry Audiometry Venepuncture for a wide range of required blood tests. Screening of pre-employment health questionnaires.
