Prince are recruiting for a Procurement Administrator to provide support to the Purchasing team within a prestigious, global manufacturing business. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to be comfortable working under pressure. This is a long-term client of ours which is genuinely a great place to work and a well-established Telford business, with a really supportive team of staff and some flexi-time options. This role will require a dynamic, experienced Administrator with existing experience in a Purchasing team who is able to undertake a wide range of tasks, and in return get to be part of an experienced and supportive team working for a leading, global manufacturing business.
The Procurement Administrator will be responsible for:
* Supporting activities around procurement for both direct and indirect commodities
* Raising Purchase orders and liaising with relevant departments to support purchasing needs
* Placing orders with suppliers
* Expediting orders and ensuring smooth delivery, managing any issues in the meantime
* Matching invoices to Purchase orders
* Ensuring MRP/ERP system is kept up to date with procurement data
Skills and Experience:
* Strong administration and communication skills along with knowledge and experience in the purchase order process
* Previous experience in liaising with suppliers
* Computer literate – previous experience on Excel and/or an ERP or MRP system would be advantageous
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Previous roles could include Purchasing Administrator / Supply Chain Administrator / Purchasing Assistant / Procurement Coordinator / Assistant Buyer
