What To Expect In this multi-skilled role, you will have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly skilled, dynamic maintenance team based at our brand-new state of the art manufacturing facility in Solihull. To qualify for this role, you must have the right to work in the UK, as we do not offer sponsorship. You’ll deliver excellence by providing engineering maintenance support to all manufacturing assets and equipment. Our manufacturing technologies includes automated equipment comprising of robots, automated welding and joining equipment, laser joining systems, automated conveyors, complex tooling, and fixturing and lifting equipment. Whether you’re an electrical engineer or a multiskilled engineer, you will receive all the training and support you require to build on your current qualifications and experience. Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities To work as part of the maintenance team to ensure a safe and efficient production performance is delivered within the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Environment framework Perform detailed preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with schedules Fault diagnosis and rectification on all plant and equipment within the manufacturing facility Technical response to breakdowns of all facilities and their controls to deliver minimal down time using safe working practises What You’ll Need An engineering maintenance discipline Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification such as BTEC, National Diploma or OCR A proven maintenance engineering professional with high standards of electrical and mechanical understanding and competencies Ability to work to find root cause of failure in reactive maintenance scenarios and implement permanent corrective actions. Willingness to undertake projects/continuous improvement works in-line with business requirements.
