Credit Control Team Leader (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Credit Control Team Leader on a fixed term contract. Working closely with our Billing & Credit Control Leadership team, as Credit Control Team Leader, you will ensure optimum performance is achieved within your team in the most cost-effective way and looking to achieve high standards and results always.
You will be ready to mentor and coach your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and efficiency, as well as implement best practices across your team.
In addition to the team leader duties, you will be expected to complete billing tasks and activities.
Please note that this role is fully office based in Bournemouth.

* A subject matter expert in Credit Control.
* Have excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills.
What would I be doing as a Credit Control Team Leader at 4Com?
* Maintain your day-to-day role in the credit control team leading from the front, contributing with all team members, and maintaining a high level of performance to set the standard.
* Completing at least 60% of your week with credit control and litigation activities, and more where required to ensure the team are always in a strong position and up to date on workload.
* Ensure all operations are carried out to the highest standards & in the most cost-effective way whilst looking for better ways to improve the customer journey and be more efficient.
* Leading your team by example to achieve optimum output, coaching underperformance (utilising reports and skills matrix to identify skill gaps) and recognising outstanding performance.
* Creating an engaged working environment where each colleague feels valued to be part of the team, overall department & Company.
* Validating and ensuring policy & process changes are embedded within the team.
* Overseeing team management, ensuring wellbeing of team members, and including sickness, disciplinaries, overtime approval and monthly 121’s.
* Being a point of technical escalation for colleagues and team members.
* Providing updates daily, weekly, and monthly where required for senior Stakeholders.
* Training new starters to the expected standard in day-to-day Credit Control duties and upskill individuals in litigation tasks when appropriate.
* Conducting engaging and informative team meetings to update teams on performance, targets, and expectations.
