Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and hard working person to join the Fracture clinic team. Main duties of the job Key responsibilities Provide high standards of individualised nursing care for patients by working under the supervision orthopaedic practitioners assessing, planning and implementing treatment plans. Assist in the preparation and/or undressing of patients prior to treatment, ensuring that the patient's comfort, privacy and dignity is maintained at all times. Assist in the support of relatives and visitors. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and be aware of the sensitive nature of some of the information received. Deal with face to face and telephone enquiries or complaints and refer to senior member of team as appropriate. To work in specialised areas such as ED/ Clinics as required alongside trained Orthopaedic Practitioner.
