This is a great opportunity to join and lead a newly integrated Property Team, responsible for the corporate property portfolio and its housing stock.
This is a permanent, agile working position and the annual salary is £57,058, along with an attractive benefits package, including a Local Authority Penson Scheme with employer contribution of 15.5%.
Job Purpose
* Working closely with the wider Property Group and Housing Neighbourhoods Team and Repairs and Maintenance Service; help drive forward their approach to asset and estate management, compliance and building safety.
* Deliver their strategic approach as well as day to day co-ordination and management of the teams involved and works relating to our obligations in these areas.
* Provide an effective risk management and proactive approach, ensuring quality services are delivered within budget and supporting the development of effective business systems to enhance compliance and asset data, reporting and service delivery.
* Support the transformation programme to enhance our compliance and asset services encouraging and promoting a positive culture.
* As part of this role, you will be expected to participate and work towards reducing both carbon emissions and the impacts of climate change.
