Job Role:
Supported Housing Worker
Salary: £25,235 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire

The Role:
In this rewarding Supported Housing Worker role, you'll provide person-centred support and housing management to single homeless clients with low to medium support needs.
Your mission? To empower individuals to build their confidence, develop their independence, and move towards a brighter, more stable future - all within clear, supportive timeframes. Every day you'll help people take real steps forward in their journey to independence.

Responsibilities include:
* Manage referrals into the service, ensuring a smooth and supportive assessment process.
* Create and deliver personalised support plans and risk assessments to help clients thrive.
* Champion safeguarding by following policies and procedures to keep everyone safe.
* Empower clients by offering advice, information, and support to connect them with the right services.
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the service, making sure everything's safe, running smoothly, and in line with health and safety standards.
Since job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the post holder may be required to undertake other duties, which are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities.
Qualifications / Requirements:
* Experience working with people who may have complex needs and/or challenging behaviours.
* Able to build effective relationships with clients and services.
* A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is required - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel to work.
