This role would be suited to a qualified CTA/ATT/ACCA/ACA (or qualified by experience) looking to join a progressive and forward-thinking practice. Key Responsibilities: Managing the tax aspects of a portfolio of owner managed businesses and their proprietors including the preparation of company tax returns, partnerships tax returns and personal tax returns including managing client relationships. Providing proactive tax planning advice to the firm's clients along with completing tax advisory projects (with the Tax Partner's support where appropriate). Providing training and support for tax associates and apprentices in the team helping them with improving technical knowledge and career progression. Proactively helping the firm with marketing activities and being involved in strategic meetings for the tax team's business. Managing a compliance portfolio of personal, partnership and company tax returns to include monitoring of billing and work in progress. Managing and developing deep client relationships. To liaise proactively with clients on advisory matters and upsell advisory opportunities for clients within your team. Tax planning within the firm. To assist the Partners on complex technical assignments. To assist in marketing and strategic planning of the tax team business. Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience: Qualified professional - CTA, ATT, ACCA, ACA similar qualification or qualified by experience Confident and well organised Excellent verbal and written communications skills with ability to communicate at all levels Thorough and methodical approach to work Adaptable and proactive The Nitty Gritty: Standard working week is a 37.5-hour week on a hybrid basis (with up to 50% of your time across the month home based and the other 50% office based) Core working hours are 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday Flexible working and happy employees are at the top of the list and they have been working hard to support teams through the fast-paced changes.
