Job Introduction Our Preparation and Cooking Team play an important role within the kitchen. It’s their responsibility to make sure that each dish we make at Bigham’s is delicious. The team manage the preparation of ingredients and then go on to ensure everything is perfectly cooked ready for our assembly teams to put the dishes together. Working Hours 4 on 4 off - 6pm - 6am Role Responsibility As a preparation and cooking team member you will be: Weighing large volumes of ingredients Hand cutting or slicing large volumes of fresh ingredients including fish and meat. Following recipe cards Managing and operating the cooking equipment, ensuring that specific cooking times and methods are followed Maintaining high hygiene levels and keeping a tidy workspace Maintaining food preparation records and logs Conducting quality checks to ensure that the Bigham’s standards are met Carrying out effective and accurate shift handovers Flagging any issues with the equipment within your area The Ideal Candidate What You’ll Need At Bigham’s we pride ourselves in doing things the right way and showing real care and attention.
