We are looking for a Senior Risk Assurance Manager to join our Operational Risk team within this second-line role.
In line with the Risk Assurance Plan, the Senior Risk Assurance Manager (SRAM) undertakes assurance activities to evaluate and report the extent to which the PPF is managing areas of risk and control in line with the PPF's risk appetite and in line with requirements of the risk management framework.
As an advocate for risk management and a subject matter expert, the SRAM provides constructive support, advice and challenge to senior stakeholders within the business. The SRAM works closely and collaboratively with all members of the Operational Risk team as well as other second line peers on a range of assurance related activity, including the development of the Risk Assurance Plan and assurance maps across the three lines.
Our ideal applicant will have senior management oversight & assurance reviews experience, with practical experience of working within Operational Risk and undertaking risk assurance activity. Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience of supervising support staff either directly as a manager or as project lead. Additionally, this position requires good analytical skills and the ability to interpret information and communicate what is needed to those with no specialist risk knowledge at various levels in the organisation.
