A new role; Purchasing and Event Logistics Coordinator has been created due to ongoing expansion. A competitive salary of c£30k is on offer with great benefits including 26 days holiday and flexitime.
The ideal person for this Purchasing and Event Logistics role will have worked in the events industry previously. You will be a confident and experienced negotiator who has the ability to build strong business relationships both internally and externally. You will have proven experience analysing data to identify cost savings.
IT proficient ideally with MS Access and MS Excel
This role is a physical active role so a level of fitness is required as well as a flexible personality and great sense of humour.
The Purchasing and Events Logistics Coordinator responsibilities include:
* Evaluate current procurement procedures and processes
* Negotiate with current and future vendors with the aim of achieving best price and terms
* Keeping track of all goods procured and keep an accurate inventory and monitoring stock levels
* Developing new stock control system
* Understanding of budgeting and cost control principles
* Project management skill to have the ability to plan, execute and monitor event logistics projects from start to finish.
