Business Development Manager required. My client is a leading supplier and maintainer of Critical power products based out of Gosport and is looking to hire a BDM to join their established team. The ideal candidate will come from a proven new business background, will have experience in the Power sector and will be based within a commutable distance of Gosport.
Business Development Manager Job Overview
1. Managing a number of key accounts and maximising returns from these customers
2. Initiating contact with and onboarding new accounts
3. Working alongside Electrical Engineers to understand and quote Electrical works as required
4. Reviewing service reports to determine remedial work required and working with Service coordinators in providing quotations for any work required
5. Arranging and attending review meetings with key accounts
6. Ensuring the company is listed on any framework agreements and PSL's amongst new and existing clients
7. Identifying opportunities for the company's products and services
Business Development Manager Job Requirements
1. Proven previous experience in a Business Development role
2. Previous experience managing and developing existing accounts
3. At least 3 years' experience working in the Power / Critical Power Sector
4. Experienced in winning new business through a number of avenues including but not limited to; tele marketing, face to face meetings, email marketing and chasing down warm leads
5. Full clean driving licence
6. Based within a commutable distance of Gosport
Business Development Manager Salary & Benefits
Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE plus OTE
