Business Development Manager - Commercial Solar (350kW-5mW)
UK-wide, Bristol region is preferred location
£45,000-£60,000 (£100k OTE) + 25 days holiday + vehicle

This stellar reputation provides the successful candidate with a strong foundation of service offerings to present to clients. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in selling sustainable solutions, particularly commercial solar, to both public and private sectors. However, candidates with a sales or business development background in utilities, roofing, or electrical contracting will also be considered.
Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial rooftop solar (350kW-4mW) sector, focusing on building a robust sales pipeline.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including property owners, developers, and corporate clients.
* Work closely with technical and project teams to design tailored solar solutions that align with client requirements.
* Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals, presentations, and contracts to secure new projects and partnerships.
* Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for growth.
* Implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and business development targets.
Requirements
* Proven track record in business development or sales within the renewable energy sector, ideally in solar PV.
* Strong understanding of commercial rooftop solar systems and their benefits for businesses.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to analyse market data and devise strategic plans to capitalise on emerging opportunities.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
* A degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
