Kent (Hybrid) – Software Development Manager – 65-70k (+ Bonus & Benefits)
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Engineer to step into a management role or an experienced manager who has a good background working on high level embedded systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of talented engineers in a dynamic and innovative environment, shaping software development processes and driving the evolution of cutting-edge products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 software engineers across multiple development projects
• Follow and oversee Scrum methodologies.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met while managing risks and resources
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
Skills & Experience Required:
• Strong leadership experience managing software development teams within an electronic/embedded systems environment
• Previous hands-on experience with software design and development in C, C++, C# etc. With an understanding of embedded and cloud services.
• Expertise in Scrum methodologies
Bonus Relevant Skills
• Familiarity with microcontroller architectures and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, TCP/IP, USB, RS232, etc.)
