A great opportunity has arisen at Hovis we're looking for 2 Engineering Maintenance Apprentices to join the Glasgow Team to play a key role in supporting our Operations Team.\n\nThis opportunity is for a full Modern Apprenticeship programme cumulating in the attainment of an SCQF Level 5 and SCQF Level 7 in Engineering Maintenance and an NC in Engineering Systems, with the expectation that candidates continue to HNC level. Full training will be given both onsite and at our training provider (EKGTA) in East Kilbride. On successful completion of the programme, candidates will receive the appropriate certification, and have the opportunity to apply for shift engineer vacancies. \n Candidates must have or expect to pass at least 4 National 5 Grades at Level C or above. Mathâs and English are required, with science and technical subjects preferable. Higher level qualifications would be an advantage. Candidates must have good communication and interpersonal skills and have a genuine interest in achieving an apprenticeship with Hovis.\n\nDemonstrate the following Behaviours:\n\n- Enthusiasm and interest in Engineering and problem solving\n- Strong communication skills with a drive to question and improve\n- A keenness to learn and adapt to ever changing situations\n- Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team\n- Takes accountability for self and the standard of own work
