Position Overview
As a company ambassador, the Brand Image Visual Merchandising Specialist ensures the implementation of our seasonal guidelines and execution of rigs and interior/window displays in our own operated Retail stores in the EMEA region with the goal to enhance brand aesthetic and to create a memorable customer shopping experience.
This role will have a detailed focus on the Menswear brand and seasonal message to be carried out throughout the role’s responsibilities. As our Brand Image specialist, you will be based in London but will cover the UK and Europe. Travel can be 1-2 weeks per month across these locations Mon-Fri.
Key Responsibilities
1. Liaise with Line Manager and Brand Image regional teams regarding all product seasonal presentation initiatives.
2. Manage and implement seasonal change-over (visual strategies).
3. Support on Seasonal window installations and updates.
4. Support planning and implementation of New Store Openings.
5. Drive sales through invigorating in-store visual merchandising presentations.
Training & Communication
1. Be a liaison and trainee between Menswear Merchandising, Planning, and Buying teams and Brand Image regional teams regarding seasonal direction and message.
2. Align all Ralph Lauren Brand strategies.
3. Create and develop seasonal floorplans for all Ralph Lauren retail stores.
4. Cascade seasonal and quarterly product flow directives as well as changes to teams.
5. Constantly train all Ralph Lauren sales staff and management on new directives in-person and remotely.
6. Manage and keep up to date regional calendar updates and movements.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
* 2-3 strategic cycles as a visual merchandiser or equivalent environment.
* Travelling is an essential part of this role with some overnight stays.
* Creative eye and a natural flair for product displays and visual merchandising.
* Positive, flexible approach with a can-do attitude.
* Self-motivated, with initiative to plan and schedule own workload within a field-based environment.
* Confidence to coach and inspire store teams to implement and maintain visual merchandising standards.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Efficient in Microsoft Office, Sketch Up, CAD, and Photoshop.
