Exciting new role for a skilled Registered Manager to oversee a respite service for children and Young People!
Working for an established and leading provider of care for adults and children with disabilities we have are keen to hear from you if you have experience as a Registered Manager supporting children and young people.
The role: Permanent 39 hours per week with flexibility required. Workington.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Overseeing and leading a team of Deputy Managers and Support Workers for a respite service for children with learning disability and autism aged between 2 up to 18 years.
* Ensuring the smooth running of the service and co-coordinating the activities and plans for the day
* Support and care plans, staff management and appraisals
* Liaise with and build effective relationships with the team, children and their families.
* Adhere to any safeguarding issues and all internal policies and procedures
* Work in line with OFSTED regulations and practises
The ideal candidate:
* You will have experience of leading and managing teams within a similar setting for children and young people
* Have sound knowledge and understanding of all OFSTED legislation and practises including inspections
* Hold the Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent
* Be a proactive and self motivated individual who has the ability to lead teams and be approachable, calm, organised and patient.
