Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive / Manager (Events) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales and events team and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently generate and manage enquiry leads to maximise event bookings.
2. Qualify large incoming enquiries for effective quoting.
3. Host client tours and meetings, provide quotations, and convert enquiries into bookings.
4. Ensure clients receive an unforgettable experience, resulting in repeat business and a strong reputation.
5. Handle client and team feedback professionally and proactively.
6. Demonstrate flexibility in working hours (generally Monday to Friday).
7. Organize, host, and attend sales events, shows, and familiarisation trips.
8. Practice efficient revenue and diary management in consultation with the business development team.
About You:
1. First point of contact for Meeting & Events enquiries from agents/clients by phone, email responding in a timely manner and able to convert enquiries into bookings.
2. Proven track record of experience in sales / sales management role.
3. Natural salesperson, ambitious, self-motivated, proactive & positive attitude.
4. Ability to work unsupervised and willingness to be accountable for the performance of the events sales.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and effective prioritising of workload is essential.
6. Excellent verbal, organisational and communication skills.
7. Prospecting & client research, identifying sales opportunities.
8. Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
9. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Preference for candidates with other marketing functions / social media knowledge.
Skills required:
1. Motivated, self-disciplined, energetic and assertive, team player.
2. Natural networker and presenter.
3. Knowledge of sales admin role and eager to learn swiftly.
4. Can do and positive attitude at all times.
5. Excellent organisational skills, oral and written communication skills within internal and external clients.
6. Understanding of the importance of sales and revenue, and the demand calendar.
