Locum Consultant Cardiologist with a Special Interest in Coronary Intervention
Applications are invited from motivated and highly enthusiastic individuals for the post of locum Consultant Cardiologist. The successful applicant will join our existing team of five consultant cardiologists at the University Hospital Wishaw.
The cardiology service is centred on a well-equipped department at UHW with a focus in the Ravenscraig Cardiology Suite. This post also enjoys strong links to the Joint NHS Lanarkshire Coronary Catheterisation Laboratory, based at University Hospital Hairmyres (UHH). This post also includes a commitment to the UHW’s cardiology services including input to daytime coronary care, cardiology inpatient care, and outpatient services. There could be opportunities to develop specialist interest areas e.g., interventional cardiology, pacing, CT.
