Job Title: Personal Assistant to the Headteacher Location: Maidenhead Contract Type: Full Time, Term Time Only plus 5 days - Permanent or Temp to Permanent Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 Start Date: ASAP The School is a vibrant and dynamic school dedicated to providing an outstanding educational experience for all our students. We are seeking a highly organized and professional Personal Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Headteacher. Role Overview: The PA to the Headteacher will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Headteacher's office, acting as the first point of contact and providing essential administrative support. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, alongside the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Provide confidential administrative support to the Headteacher, including diary management and scheduling meetings. Screen and prioritize phone calls, emails, and other correspondence, responding or redirecting as necessary. Organize meetings and events, including the preparation of agendas and taking minutes when required. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Liaise with staff, parents, and external stakeholders on behalf of the Headteacher. Undertake research and assist in project management as directed by the Headteacher. Manage and maintain the Headteacher’s files, records, and other documentation in an organized manner. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role. Must have SIMS or Arbour software knowledge. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Desirable Skills: Experience in an educational setting or supporting senior leadership.
