As our Product Analyst, Mortgages, you’ll support the management of our mortgage product ranges throughout the product lifecycle to meet business objectives in line with our values as a mutual building society. Analyse competitors, market trends and regulatory changes to improve products, financial performance and customer outcomes ensuring alignment with Fair value management and transparency. Create clear business proposals for product changes and new product developments, keeping customer needs and regulatory compliance at the forefront. Oversee the effective execution of product launches and withdrawals efficiently, ensuring customers are well informed through clear and accessible communication material. Development and management of a suite of accurate management information dashboards, to monitor product performance and inform product/pricing decisions that improve customer outcomes and pricing fairness. Analyse market and performance data to identify emerging trends providing actionable recommendations. Product performance reporting to a range of internal committees and meetings including Product and Pricing Committee and Board. Act as a ‘Mortgage advocate’ within the business, liaising with other departments and our branch network to promote the features and benefits of the Society’s products. Serve as a point of contact for resolving complex product queries and ensure decisions prioritize customer needs. Provide input for website content, marketing campaigns and point of sale material to ensure communications are accurate, easy to understand and compliant with consumer duty obligations. Adhere to all relevant Conduct Risk Policy and Governance Policy procedures promoting compliance with regulatory standards that protect customer interests. Stay informed of risks within your operational areas, ensuring controls are in place to minimise these risks while prioritising positive customer outcomes. Support with other specific projects as agreed with the Product Manager. Consistently work in an efficient and highly productive manner, seeking to challenge and improve processes undertaken by you and within your team, to ensure a high level of productivity. We’d also like to see: Proficient in excel, including data analysis and reporting Experience in financial services product or commercial areas desired. Good knowledge and understanding of retail credit products, preferably Mortgages. Knowledge of financial environment with excellent analytical skills – highly numerate. Interested?
